Frank Durksen

I started working for a global equipment auction company in Canada in 2011. There I learned about all types of construction and transport equipment used in almost every industry. I worked for a range of customers through the process of buying and selling equipment. Every customer was unique. I dealt with individuals in different economic situations  from those with the need for a few assets up to large companies and complete dispersals.

The company moved me and my wife to Australia in 2013 to help grow their Sydney business. Over the years I had the privilege of getting to know, work with and help many individuals and companies around NSW and ACT.

Previously, I was a successful business owner. I started two small businesses in Canada each operating for more than 7 years. I know the challenges of securing the proper finance to make a business grow and that it takes more than just hard work and long hours. I remember being frustrated with bank managers coming and going. I was always having to meet someone new and re-explain my business. There was also no option of meeting them outside of business hours when I had the most time to talk. As a business owner, I learned how important it was to have the proper guidance and support from someone I could trust at a time that I needed it the most.

I have extensive industry knowledge about the range of equipment needed to make businesses thrive. I know what the equipment is, the application it is used for as well as its value.
