After completing 7 years with the ANZ bank I became somewhat disillusioned with banking life so I decided to leave. Soon after leaving the bank I was contacted by a local broker to commence work with them. As this is going back to the mid-’90s, equipment finance brokers were relatively unheard of. So as a young man that was not so streetwise I armed myself with a telephone book, a mobile telephone the size of a small house brick & a pager I hit the pavement in search of customers. It was a tough initiation into the industry but one that taught me many valuable lessons.

Fast forward 25 years on & I am still in the same industry & a partner in Finlease WA. With access to a multitude of different lenders & products, there are not to many applications that we cannot accommodate. The bulk of my business tends to be in the civil, mining, hire & transport industries.

On a personal level & having been born on a farm & spending most of my life in the hills, I really enjoy the outdoors. I keep very active with varied sporting interests which include running, swimming, motorsport, basketball & football. I am a husband & doting dad to my two young children whom I am actively involved with their upbringing.
